I am curious how many times they use the convergent disc as a stamper or how many vinyl disc they produce from one convergent/stamper.
I was told that the convert/stamper can be used for 400-700 copies. They claim to make only 2500 copies, so 4-5 converts must be made. That gets kind of expensive to create.
"While not one of my favorite albums, and the music is just okay, the recording is spectacular." Being a vinyl guy, I can still somehow understand that it is worth $100 to you even though it’s not one of your favorite lps. (I think we have a serious illness at times?).... laughing...
LOL, yes I have a serious vinyl problem. I have a massive LP collection and am always looking to add to it. In this case, I was so curious as to this new pressing scheme that the music played second fiddle (pun intended). I got to hear this release several times at shows and was totally impressed, but having it at home, on my system, in my room, was the only way to know for sure. It is a spectacular pressing...
