Well you certainly have some good choices. I’m unfamiliar with Triangle, but they have a good rep and I believe are usually relatively easy to drive. I’ve heard other models from ProAc and Totem and was very impressed by both. The Totems throw off an impressive 3D soundstage and disappear very well, and the ProAcs do likewise but have a naturalness about them that is very rare and what makes them one of my favorite speakers on the market. These were different models so take that for what it’s worth — although I do believe both brands do have a house sound — but maybe something to listen for when you audition them. Your ears will tell you which one is right, and best of luck.
Short List of speaker Upgrade
Seeking a full range speaker to replace my current speaker and my three choices are as follows:
1. Pro-AC K3-is this a 2 way or three way speaker? I have seen it mentioned on the internet as both. How do I know for sure whether it is 2 way or 3 way?
2. Totem-Elemental Metal V2-assume 3 way
3. Triangle Cello-assume 3 way
All are about $18,000.00 retail.
Has anybody heard any of the three?
Thanks in advance for your input.
My dealer sells all three brands so I would like to stay with him as his knowledge and service are impeccable.
