Songs That Sound the Same

I was in the gym today, and bless them, they play different musical genres from time to time. They were playing 60's music and an old Tom Jones song, "Delilah" came on. I noticed immediately that most of it sounded amazingly similar to Fastball's "The Way". My kids and I like to find songs that sound similar, such as:

Tom Jones "Delilah" and Fastball "The Way"
Steve Miller Band "Take the Money and Run" and The Spin Doctors "Little Miss Can't be Wrong"
Elvis Costello "Pump it Up" and The Escape Club "Wild Wild West"
Intro to The Cars "Just What I Needed" and The Ohio Express "Yummy Yummy Yummy"
ELO "Ma-Ma-Ma-Belle" and Mott the Hoople "Jerkin' Crocus"
Of course, George Harrison "My Sweet Lord" and The Chiffons "He's So Fine" (Harrison lost a plagarism lawsuit over that one.)
Intro to The Who "Pinball Wizard" and The Shocking Blue "Venus"

I am sure there are many others. Any ideas? Thanks.

Pity I cant use spellchecker though... doh, glad you knew who I meant!
Selena Gomez's "Same Old Love" and Camila Cabello's "Havana"
Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" and Madonna's "Express Yourself"
Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven" and the Police's "Roxanne"

I think all of these share similar if not exact elements. I'd bet my car that the first three are the same composer with different lyrics.

Swift's lyrics are too similar to Passenger's, even line by line... as if she was describing the same imagery with her own words. (Compare them line by line)

And they definitely have the same melody and vocal placement.

If it wasn't bought and paid for, we would've heard of at least one law suit.
Don't you agree?
