I bought an Ed Saunders for my V15 Type IV and it sounds amazing and tracks beautifully.  In a head to head comparison with the original Shure, this stylus measures extremely close.  Go to his website for information.
The cantliever is broken so i bought a grado statement.Mabe it's its me but it seems the v15 was way more fun.I passed up the jico sas because it was 160.00 now it is over 300.00.My delima is new stylus vs a newer cartridge. RW

+1...I just bought an Ed Saunders stylus for my V15III and it is indeed very, very good.

Mofi: so happy you enjoy your V15-Saunders set up.  I am cranking Big Star's #1 Record while listening on Grado headphones.  The details, the guitars, the staging, the bass and micro dynamics are simply amazing.

And there is absolutely no mistracking at 1.25 gram.

Enjoy,
Steve
Steve, yeah I can't remember how long it's been since I've tracked a cartridge at under 1.5-1.75 grams?  Most modern carts track at that or even a little higher.

These old Shures are indeed a blast from the past and still hold their own.
