Subwoofer Spl Output

Looking at subwoofers, wondering what type of SPL at 35 hz for example would a subwoofer do.

Passive Thor’s Hammer Specifications Type:

Front Ported 2 each 15 inch, dual spider 4 ohms 93 dB @ 1 watt (2.83v at one meter).

That's about 88db @ 8 ohms with one watt. Now add 1000 watts @ 8 ohms or 2000 @ 4. 120-130db. Enough to get you arrested and go deaf.. Is that enough?

DIY 21" subs, 6-12cf boxes with big QRC, Crown, or Behringers amps. 120-130db @ 35hz will bring the neighbors house down. You'll just have to deal with the noise bleeds and broken glass at your house, after you wake up :-)

Concussions anyone? Maybe if WILL SLAPS a little harder next time.. That's a joke. Don't get mad. That slap was a least 100db. 100db has got be at least 100 million. Tell me that video didn't say it all. :-)

Is that a Charles Atlas pose in your pic or is that an Avatar? Remember Charles Atlas?

Or as my Sifu says dance my young friend dance. Kata maybe?

Enjoy your quest for the best, boom in the room.. Remember tape those windows if its a rental.. :-)

Ya thats good stuff! I had the Jbl crown fix of 8 2235 15".

Budget  say 300watt 12" driver max spl?

That would depend on the enclosure.  The right driver in a big enough and properly tuned box could shake the house.  But, it would be huge.
