TEKTON IMPACT MONITORS

I ove this speakers , on my set up they sound really very dynamic and easy to listen. Is there anyway to replace their tweeters to improve them? I do love the design of the impact. Thanks

Yes , John Van L even did a bit to even make them sound better. He likes the Tekton impact. Thanks Grant.
I saw a post about Raven Audio’s amp designs being owned by someone in South Korea. This is not true at all. SE Han (retired) was a subcontractor years ago to help us design the first product line.

Raven Audio has always owned all of it’s circuit designs. And all designs past 2015 are now several iterations beyond where the originals were. All upgrades have come from James Connell in Shreveport, Louisiana and Bill Baker in New York.

Bill Baker is the designer responsible for the Purity Audio and Response Audio lines.

Bill Baker is now a full-time employee of Raven Audio and he builds the Elite Series and some Avian amplifiers in New York. James Connell builds Avian amplifiers in Shreveport, LA and is the designer of all of the Raven Audio speakers.

When Raven Audio was a smaller boutique company starting out back in 2009 I hired SE Han to design and build all of our first amps and preamps here in Trinity, Texas. He retired and left Raven back in late 2016.

Sorry, just felt that I had to respond to clear up the inaccuracies about Raven Audio in this forum post. Thanks.
Dave good to know ! Facts do matter, maybe even in Texas. Serious question - Are you designing and winding your own output transformers ? Any plans to use an R core power transformer ?

Best to you

Jim
I would avoid that mod if I were you. Problem is, it will be expensive and you will affect the resale value of the speakers. Of course, if this is just a DIY project for kicks, then sure go ahead!
