Thanks for the Wynton Marsalis.  While it never sounded that good it reminds me of being a kid in the pew of the our small Baptist.  That experience shaped my listening preferences today

WAR:

 

WAR along with Earth Wind & Fire, the two best bands ever!  The percussion on Four Cornered Room can only be fully appreciated thru JBLs powered by Phase Linear Amps set to 'Earth Shattering".

This is Leos Jancek the Great Czech modern composer .

He is much loved with younger Classical players .

He made thundering pieces and beautiful  small  Quarte 's and unusual Opera's

played all over Europe
