My pal just learned of 25 dollar a pop, gold plated fuses. He is about to buy a bunch, and is giving me the "typical" pitch. This is an area I'm really sceptical about.I have no problems with tweaks, but these look like overkill.Any thoughts?
Hi-Fi Tuning fuses gave great results when I put them on my EMM Labs CDSD andf DAC6e. so yes, they worked very well for me and they are a cheap tweak considering the amount of money we spent on audio gear.
I have tried both of these fuses and the Hi-Fi tuning fuses are just a little better than the Isoclean fuses, its like getting a power cord upgrade. I also have two Clever Little Clocks and the improvement I'm getting with these are like getting a really good speaker upgrade and on video, it gets you very close to HD TV! P.W.B. ELECTRONICS is the BEST KEPT SECRET in ALL of AUDIO!
Has anyone tried their breaker boxes? I saw something about them on the net yesterday. I'm curious, but based on the cost of a 20a fuse, I don't know if I can even afford to look.
Uppermidfi...For the ultimate results, (so they say) fuses must be bypassed (eliminated). Perhaps they will bypass the circuit breakers as well. And how about the wattmeter. Bypassing that will also save money (until they catch you).
