TL Electronics

Hello.

I want to share with all of you that this seller on audiogon

https://www.audiogon.com/stores/tl-electronics?srsltid=AfmBOoo4yg6S5beXlp5-HspYSFmDCgxcAE9q3gZwRVAGsMbRKd3YU2Zc

is a scammer!

I found out unfortunately losing my money.

Tejan Conteh owns tl electronics limited, but he owns even tl electronics 2 limited.
While you buy from tl electronic limited which owns nothing, probably he moves the money he receives to tl electronics limited 2, so you can not find anything if you bring legal action against the company.

You can find all that info here:

I chatted with him on whatsapp and he said to buy with confidence because his company has been open for 7 years and because his feedback on Audiogon (3) is 100% (and probably is fake).
He never showed himself and he didn't accept to have a video call but he can send you photos of all the used items he seemed to sell with his passport close to the equipment as you can see in the shot below.
Anyway, he is a scam and he will never send you anything. Unfortunately, I know.

I wonder whether some big shop has helped him to create the catalog of his photos because the brands that he has listed are very important and not so common.

Don't buy from tl-electronics.com, don't buy from Tejan Conteh.

If someone needs more info can contact me.

Thanks @Tony1954.

I don't see any possibility to get money back.

As a producer of Stands for high-end equipment, I have noticed by the way, that one specific aspect comes out of buying just from resellers with a long history and verifiable reviews. This market become more and more too much exclusive and prices are going more and more crazy. This circle is self-referential and no one is allowed to access it. I hope that sometimes some new and young shops can open and with the right willingness to enter this world can create a little bit of sane competition.

Even though the high-end passion seems to have days numbered because new generations have no money for this expensive passion, neither they are interested in it.

This doesn't mean that you have to buy everywhere and be cautious.

After everything happened it's easy even for me to recognize I made a mistake but when you are dealing with a seller, not everything is clear and your doubts mixed with the desire to have found a super deal can lead you to that.

I hope that this post can be useful for someone else and that this stupid guy will not claim other victims. At least my money will make sense.

But this is just my sight and I didn't want to hurt anyone.

Hi @rsf507

Yes, I have reported because he is using that feedback to say he is reliable.

Audiogon says:

"We are going to contact him to see what is going on but since this sale took place off Audiogon, that is all we can do."

I have provided chats, photos, website info, and police claim but it seems to be not enough,

It's weird... to respect privacy and if this thing doesn't touch personal interest it seems better to stay out.

I personally think differently because Audiogon, which is one of my favourite forums is much more than a forum now: it's a place where people think to buy with peace of mind and where buyers and sellers can receive feedback on their good behavior.
