As my Dragon CT is being repaired, I bought a Sound House SH-B19 (Micro
Seiki upgraded BL-101). It is sounding great with stock MA-505 MKIII
and stock wires with a AC-2. I will be installing a UNIverse II.
Having the never ending upgrade itch, what would be a good tonearm
upgrade in the $1-3k used market? Assuming the Micro Seiki armboards
fit:
- Origin Live Enterprice C (A1201 armboard. I seem to like this one. Very similar looking to arm in SH-B19 now.)
- Dynavector dv-507 mk II (Which armboard? Hard to find in used market.)
- SME V
- Graham Phantom II, 2.2
- Origin Live Conqueror MK3C
- Micro Seiki MAX-237, MA-808X
- Abis SA-1.2
I don't think double tower arms (TriPlanar, Reed, Schroeder Ref) will fit without removing the dust cover.
