* Riders on the Storm - Doors
* What's Going On? - Marvin Gaye
* Smiling Faces Sometimes - Undisputed Truth
* Maggie May/Reason to Believe - Rod Stewart
As others have suggested, many album tracks - even into the 70s - were much better than the Billboard Top 100 lists.
