What is the best way to set up two KEF KC62 with a Mcintosh labs mx123 processor

Hello everyone.

I am not as subwoofer person and have in the past been fine with using my main speakers Songs Faber Cremona  for base.  However, as new content is coming out with Dolby Atmos and 3D object oriented surround effects, I decided to update my Pre-Processor and also get two small (because of space) KEF KC62.

CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO SET THESE UP USING THE MCINTOSH MX123.

THANKS

1) Place your subwoofers in corners if possible. I like the drivers pointed at the wall about 2-3 inches away. Maybe front left corner, rear right corner.

2) Set the crossover on the sub at max or bypass, as the processor will handle the crossover. Set the phase at 0. Run the Audyssey setup as described on page 123 in the manual.

3) After the setup see how you like the integration.

After setting up your subs here is a video on managing bass with Audyssey:

Thank you all of you for the recommendations.  I am sure dbphd KEF combination sounds great, but I can't use the KEF app if I dont have the LS50, so its unfortunate that this won't work in my system.

Regarding the MX123 I have used the Audyssey setup every time I change something and I am familiar to an extent with it.  I will check out the video kota1 sent me.  Thank you.

In the KEF KC62 manual, its written that one way of connecting the Subs is by connecting one to the pre amp and the other from the first sub output  to the LFE of the second sub.  I was thinking of just connecting both subs to the PRE sub output.  Any thoughts on that.  I will connect them this weekend (I had no electricity thanks to hurricane Fiona),  and see what happens.

Thanks again for the two of you for your quick response.

Regards

JORGE

Jorge, connect both subs to the pre-outs of the MX123 and audyssey will integrate them both. Don't use the LFE of the second sub.
