One of my all time favorite records.
@mammouthguy54,
Playing the Rhino...................
I own the MFSL (original) and this Rhino reissue. |
This phono IC has the ability to make any well balanced system sound better.
|
|
@nicks25,
Insurance only paid for therapy twice a week. I didn't want to end up with a "frozen shoulder". They don't tell you this prior to surgery. I then did my exercises for a year. Necessary.

How's the Sota sounding Jim? |
@bkeske,
If you remember, I got all of the Norman Greenbaum lps (WLP) this year. They all sound mighty fine. |
"Phoenix" is one of my all time favorites!
|
Hey @uberwaltz,
If you're interested in a sealed Alison Krauss "So Long, So Wrong" on MFSL , I can give you the address? This is a great sounding pressing! |
Steve Martin & The Steep Canyon Rangers "Rare Bird Alert" |
Jim, Wish her a speedy recovery from all of us who feel like we know her here. |
Navasota "Rootin’" WLP
This record is just pure rock ’n’ roll with a slight twang to it. Actually the lead singer reminds me of early John Fogerty. Donald Fagan, Jeff (Skunk) Baxter, Walter Becker all are represented here as contributors. Great SQ. |
Courtney Barnett "MTV Unplugged" |
|
spirit,
"Homecoming" is another favorite of mine.
BTW, ordered all of the Federale lps I don't have this week. |
Dust "S/T" Kama Sutra/early 70’s
I’m sure someone turned us on to this band here....might have been @730waters,
Early psych. I remember this label from my formative years
Great SQ!
|
Merle Haggard "Serving 190 Proof". SQ is wonderful. song craft is wonderful. |
BTW, Bob Welch shouldn't be considered a guilty pleasure. |
William & McEuen (presents "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" 3lp/United Artists/1972 if I'm reading my Roman numerals correctly.
This was a gift from brother @tomic601 . Never knew of it's existence until now |
|
|
New Riders of The Purple Sage "The Adventures of Panama Red" |
Tom, Another favorite of mine. |
@reubent,
Tom, I love it!. I think I posted a little about it last weekend. She brings in a few guests and the SQ is probably the best of all her lps I own. She is just a fabulous artist. |
Hey Jim, start with another one or two of her lps before the MTV Unplugged. |
Heard of Wailin' Jenny's.
Thanks for the extra work my brother. |
|
Now, in my current state, I'm trying to clean, listen, post.... in a manner that makes sense and is in itself, a forward moving thing that one can understand.
It's a trick.
Tony Joe White "Swamp Music" Monument Rarities/RunOutGroove
