Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
Several good albums from later afternoon into the evening.  With a halibut steak done on the Traeger grill, in between sets.  Yum!

Neil Young  'After The Gold Rush'  The other Neil Young reissues are very good.  This one is terrible.  Very warped and sounds lousy.  Back it goes.

Joni Mitchel  'Blue'  Reissue, last year.  Sounds excellent!

Tears For Fears  'The Seeds of Love'  I got this a couple of weeks ago.  Very good 80s album, I thoroughly enjoy it.  Good SQ but very much the "wall of sound".

Jennifer Warnes  'Famous Blue Raincoat'  Outstanding limited edition reissue, mine is 825/1000.  Blue vinyl, only 1,000 copies made from Jennifer's personal analogue tapes.  What vocals!  What sonics!

Talking Heads  'Speaking In Tongues'  Finally came off of backorder, since January.  Made in Germany, this is by far the best sounding of all of the Talking Heads albums.  Great music, no doubt, but also the best recording, mixing, mastering/plating/pressing on high quality vinyl of the bunch.  Very flat and very quiet.  I believe there are still some available.  If you don't already have this one in your collection I highly recommend it, for all the right reasons.  Just stunning!
I forgot to mention, the Jennifer Warnes album is on Impex label.  Anything you can get on Impex, get it.  They really do everything very well.  Superb production quality.
