Are you using ebony or cherry (is that what they use)?

Soundsmith does not identify the wood used, but to me, it looks like cherry.

Never mounted it brother. I’m figuring it’ll be easier to mount it on my Townshend Rock 7 (with the extra stuff required for the damping trough), since it has threads

ahhhh…I see.

BTW, finally picked up a strobe, (‘cheapo’ Chinese one), so am finally putting that SOTA speed gauge you sent me long ago to use. Nice to have. Simpler to use than my phone app, and probably more accurate.
