I recenty heard the Nola speakers. They use double platform bases with ball bearing isolation. What manufacturers make bases for speakers like this? Have you tired them?
I have a two-piece wood platform with ball bearings between the two levels under my CD transport-- made a HUGE improvement in sound. Manufacturer is First Impression Music.
They also make sets of ones to put under components; that is two metal cups with a ball bearing between them. May Audio is the importer in US. FIM also has some great recordings and some very good AC receptacles, which I use. I am one of their dealers; partly so I can get their products for my own use.
