I use windows 7 on laptop and windows 10 on pc. Windows 7 is newer version so updates security and many more things is better on windows 7 then xp. I haven’t used windows xp for years maybe last time it was in 2008-2010. Most of the computers run on windows 10 or windows 7 nowadays.
So if your hardware can handle newer version you better use as new as possible.
