+1 on Harbeths with Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum III.  I have SHL5+ and love the combination.  Alan Shaw is right on at least one point - to get good dynamics out of these they need a decent amount of power.  Thus, the Rogue, with 100 W.   Of course,...

I've not heard a Rogue Tempest, but I love my Cronus Magnum II, and its phono section and headphone amp.  It has the power to drive anything, including my Harbeth SLH5+ 
coupling or decoupling of vinyl to/ from platter
I use the  FUNK FIRM Achromat on my souped-up Techincs DD table and it seems ideal for absorbing energy from the LP.  It also has a small depression for the label.  I sometime use it with a 1050g brass weight, but that doesn't seem to make much o...

I tend to agree with the Harbeth designer when he says they benefit from a healthy amount of power. Therefore, I think something like the Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II is worth a look. Excellent phono section too. Made in the US and a super value.

+1 For Rogue Cronus Magnum II.  I needed more power than my Cary CAD-300s deliver for my Harbeth SLH5+s and am very happy with the sound.  KT-120s!  I don't do so much vinyl anymore, and the phono stage gives me everything I want.
