A shout out to Peter at The Cable Co. for the guidance and recommendations.
Speaker Cables? why all the hype for expensive speaker wire?

Speaker Cables? why all the hype for expensive speaker wire?
I have no dog in this fight (debate), but I'll simply say that, in my recent experience, a change in cables in my system has been transformative by every measurable listening metric:  range, soundstage, imaging, etc.  We are very active listeners,...

Wow an old album that rocked your world

Most annoying song, period.
So easy to drive a stake into the heart of Yoko Ono, but take a moment to reconsider "Walking On Thin Ice" (Elvis Costello did).
Best speakers for max. $3000?
How about a used pair of Golden Ear Triton Ones?  With internally powered sub-woofers, the quality is impressive.
Whats on your turntable tonight?
Just finished listening to the MoFi 45rpm "Blood on the Tracks" - revelatory.
