@lewm @mulveling thanks for your answers. Appreciate it. I’ve since discovered it’s the 901 has the slightly higher output. Also the mk3 version has a micro line stylus according to vinyl engine specs So I’m thinking of going for a 901 now instea...

Thanks for all your answers. The info stamped in the dead wax is the same on both LPs that's why I'm extra perplexed. But the thickness of records as mentioned by Mmakshak is interesting to me because one of the vinyls I'm talking about is thicker...

I have 2 pressings of one LP: one label is laminated and the other is not. Anyone know which one might have come first? The label color is also different but everything else is the same. Thanks!
