All. Looking to replace my McIntosh MX121 with a new processor that can decode 7.1 and 4k. I’d like to spend less than $3k and buy used. I don’t see Atmos or 8k in my near future. I will have limited 2 ch listening.
I like Anthem for sound quality, but the EQ/DSP capabilities are generally lacking IMHO compared to Marantz but this may be something only a DSP geek like me might care about. The advanced Audessey versions let you hand craft DSP curves.
