Actually, I don't have a Squeezebox Touch yet, though I plan to get one. I'd think an email to Logitech's customer support would clear up whether the Touch could find the music files on a directly connected USB hard drive. Logitech's FAQ about attaching USB storage only refers to it as a "USB drive." It doesn't further delineate it as a "USB flash drive" or "USB hard drive," so even Logitech's detailed info is ambiguous on the subject. |
I know three people who owned the Wadia ipod dock and sold it when they bought the Onky ND-S1. It is available from Japan on ebay with a universal power supply that works fine with US current for around $200 delivered. Also, I had the new Cambridge which also extracts a pure digital signal from the iPod and it is also not near as good as the Onkyo. |
