Anthem MRX 710 power on issue

My Anthhem MRX 710 got stuck in a "Powering On ..." mode three years ago. A local repair shop said a logic board has failed. Also that unfortunately the board, made in China, is unattainable. Before I  bring this to the land fill, is this true? Is there an alternate solution? Thanks
