Audible illusions need Balanced output

you may want to consider an ARC or VTL fully differential fully balanced preamp. 

The AI is a nice preamp but would need a ton of work to convert it to fully differential. 

Or BALANCED Audio Technology (BAT). Their preamps are excellent!

You could use external Jensen transformers between the AI preamp and ARC amp.

@hiend2  The suggestion above is spot on. Jensen transformers makes transformers for exactly this sort of thing.
