Auralic Aries S1 streamer

This steamer could be a killer unit. A shame it does not have fibre input. However, I did have a streamer from Playback Designs, Stream-IF, that was able to compete against 2 fibre based streamers that I also had. The Lumin X1 and the Sonore OpticaRendu. The Stream-IF did not support fibre input, only fibre output, which I was not able to use.

Point is that maybe the newer streamers can compete against fibre based streamers.

Never cared to ever try Auralic since it does not support android.

For those of you that made the Aries S1 purchase did you also purchase the S1 power supply for the extra $999?  If so, did it add the value you thought it would to justify the purchase?  TY
