I have been running it with DAC4800a from http://www.digitalamp.com/. I also run a pair of cary slam 100 monoblocks. All at once. If I do not want a set of speakers on I just do not turn on that amp. I am replacing the DAC4800A with the "Cherry". Also a Digital Amp product. I find they are exceptional for the clarity and power compared to the price. This is a small operation and hand made to order. I like the Bel Canto and they work well together. The pre3 is very neutral and the Dac4800A is defined and deep.
