Im fixing up a pair of carver amazing platinums. I have blown a few amps on those monsters. any experience with powering them up properly? let me know what you discover please.
bi or tri amp Carver Amazing Platinums
I have a pair of Platinums I hope to tri amp with a VonScheikert (800w) powered sub. Considering a Rane CS23 pro crossover to test this out. Advise I've received to date leads me to believe that crossover points at 200 between the ribbons and woofers and rolling the bottom off at 60 leaving the rest for the sub has worked for others. I have a pair of ARC Classic 120's to power the ribbons and am considering 400w+ SS ARC for the woofers.
Anybody have advise?
