cary cad 500mb vs levinson 23.5

i have been running a levinson no 23 which unfortunatly has died. i am looking at a cary cad500mb and a levinson 23.5 as replacements. i was just wondering if anyone had heard both of them and had any comments on which would be better. or if anyone had other recommendations.
