CD player recommendation with good built in dac under 1k new or used? please and thanks

been out of the CD game for ages, I mostly stream

only requirement is good sq with a decent built in dac

I was thinking Arcam CD5 but open to all manner of suggestions

Better transport than player, but as a player solid enough. Have owned several of them with no problems. Currently run one through a Mojo Audio Mystiqué 3, Luxman 509X and ATC SCM 20 monitors and it's a really good system. Challenging to find though.
