Thanks all. I did chat with Bill at Rogue Audio. I am going to use the power strip method. Bill said that to change out the power switch requires taking the top of the unit. I am a nightmare with equipment. He suggested the hitting the power switch on the inside to possibly break free a potential solder (I think that is what he said) of the circuit which causes it to freeze in the on or off position. That could break it free and solve the problem. He said it is a 50/50. but if that didnt work, i need to find someone that can work on electronics to install a new one as I am not versed with that. Or i can ship to Rogue (cant imagine the shipping cost). Or buy a new Cronan - not really in my budget! So the power strip it is.
Seems like this should not happen given that i am not the only one that has had this issue...
Thanks again to all of you.
