DAC to eventually replace my Simaudio Supernova
My Supernova is aging well, but I really am interested in jumping headlong into an R2R dac, initially using the Supernova as a transport.
I like my music presented on the warm side of neutral, with a mountain of bass if it’s in the recording.
I’m considering the Halo Spring KTE, the Denefrips Venus, and Perhaps the Schiit Yggy. I like i2s input of the Holo Spring. I wish the Yggy had dsd input.
The rest of my system consists of SF Cremonas, Classe CA-M300 amps, ARC LS27 preamp.
Would any of the above dacs be a considerable improvement over the Supernova?
