Esoteric K-01x - would you add an Esoteric Robidum clock to this player ?

.......or would I need to is probably a better way to ask this question. I have an opportunity to purchase an Esoteric G-0s clock which has the Robidum clock as was wondering would I hear a sonic improvement and if I would ...would it be worth it as the clocks are not inexpensive. Your thoughts and thank you in advance.

IMHO, I think that would be overkill.  I have an Esoteric UX-3 which I love and I tried the Esoteric clock that was going to cost me 3K.  I tried it for a few days and really couldn't tell the difference.  At times I thought I did hear a difference, then I would change my mind.  I sent it back to Spearit Sound. (this was 5 years ago)
Alas, spelled Rubidium, not Robidium. I’ve been using a Stanford Research Systems 10mhz master clock to time a K-01X. It’s a significant improvement at a fraction of the price of an Esoteric clock.
Thank you fellow members......so Mr. dgarretson ; I have read about the Stanford Research master clock which is similar to Rubidium clock ? …...but you could actually hear a sonic improvement on the Esoteric K-01x ? Please let me know in what ways and was it a very noticeable difference or more subtle as time went on and you listened to your system. Some are saying …..not a big difference. Thank you in advance.

Here's a review of the Stanford...and it compares the Esoteric Clock. They certainly don't perform the same nor should they for a 20K difference in price. Good reading....
