Explain this to me like I'm a 5-Year Old: Matching
It's quite simple, really. All I want is a primer for all things regarding matching:
1. Cartridge-Tonearm. Effective mass vis-a-vis compliance.
2. Load impedence . . . Moving coil stuff . . .
3. Cartridge output, phono stage gain.
Actually, all I'm asking is a way to satisfy these three major areas of concern. The ultimate goal would be to determine exactly what would be the optimum combination of cartrige/tonearme/preamp combination in terms of matching ideals.
