For $2500 or less what's the best amp out there?

I'm especially fond of Audio Research equipment. I have the AR LS16 preamp. My CD players are EAD Ultradisc 2000 and Cambridge Audio Azur 840. Speakers are Vandersteen 3A's. My amp at present is the Parasound A21.
