Furutech DeMaga v Acoustic Revive RL-30 Mk III LP Demanitizers

Has anyone done a comparison?  Many thanks!

Have used the Furutech demag and it's ok a bit of a pain to use but after a week I returned it to the dealer. Never used the AR product. Have now seen a CSPORT static eliminator in action and looks so easy to use so I have a unit on order.

Static electric charge and magnetism are two different phenomena, even though objects bearing opposite charges can attract each other. The Furutech is a deMAGNETizer, so I assume the other device is in the same category. First, you have to believe LPs need to be demagnetized. I don’t. So for me both devices are equally good at dealing with a problem that doesn’t exist.

Never used either, but I do like the typo in the title. A "demanitizer" sounds like something a lesbian would approve of!

LP's do not have or accumulate magnetic charge. Another bogus product to entice the gullible!

And magnetism is not due to a “charge”. Sorry.

I don’t know how the whole idea got started, but there are some believers for sure. Otherwise how could these companies sell demagnetizers for more than $2500?
