System advice
The Lampizator DAC will look pretty but compared to a Benchmark DAC it is way overpriced!
System advice
Go back to your old system. It was foolish to listen to that salesman's advice! What he wanted you to buy was a waste of your money! He was a predator looking to earn a commission by selling you that more expensive Naim system.

Maybe the Bonneville's can be ordered with grill covers?

@lowtubes : I agree! Different SUT's, like different cartridges, have unique sonic attributes. So experimentation is in order! I have five on hand to try, including a Quicksilver.

I agree! Buy a proper size/watts AC step-up transformer on Amazon. You don't need to spend $500!

I checked and the Paua is indeed a moving iron cartridge like all the others in the Soundsmith line.

Isn't the Soundsmith Paua a moving iron cartridge? That's the mechanism used by Grado and some others. No SUT required.
New Amp Advice
Why would you want to spend $40-45K? I guess you belong to the 1% Class. There is nothing wrong with your Michi amp. It is competently designed. All competently-designed amps will sound alike. I recommend the Fosi V3 Monos with two 48 volt power s...
Kenwood KD 650, Stanton cartridge
I have one! It's worth at least $500. List it on USAudio Mart and save on paying a listing fee.
