I can't answer your question definitively but I can offer some experience and a direction for you to proceed.
I have a Grado Sonata1 that has been on a Harmon Kardon T-60 and a T65 TT, each of which uses a straight Micro-race tonearm by Ito. Prior to the Sonata1 I used a Grado Signature 8, which resembles the current Prestige line and is lighter than the current Platinum1/Sonata1 lines.
On the T60 the counterweight was all the way back at it's limit and it sounded fine. The T65 arm is rated to take a slightly heavier cartridge, so the counterweight wasn't as far back. The bass was fuller and tighter with the cartridge mounted on the T65's arm.
Below is a link to The Vinyl Engine, which has a database of turntables, tonearms and cartridges. There are also some very useful and interesting tools on the site to help you get the most out of what you have. You should be able to determine whether or not you have a good match.
