Has anyone noticed Monoprice Monolith speaker stands look identical to the Pangea DS-400?

I was planning on buying the DS-400 when funds permit but I stumbled across Monoprice's Monolith stands and for less than half the price they look exactly the same. I think I'll save the money and report back on their quality.

Just bought my second pair, for the price sure beats moving speakers and trying to remove bluetac.

I realize that this thread is over four years old.   I recently picked up a small pair of stand mount speakers, and needed another pair of stands.  I run two systems,so another set of decent stands was a must.  I have had the Pangea DS4000 for a while, and I am pleased with the value these offer. I believe I paid $200 plus tax a few years ago.  I was considering purchasing another set of these, when I remembered the Monolith stands from Monoprice.  They currently have the 24” stands on sale for $44 a piece.   So,delivered to my door for a c note, I figured why not?  They were delivered today, and it took me about 20 minutes to unbox and assemble them.  Amazingly substantial and sturdy. The main difference I see between these and the Pangea, are the Pangea upright supports are rectangular, where as the Monolith are square.  Not a whole lot of difference weight wise. Both are a relative bargain. However, the price of the Monolith makes them a screaming deal.  I have absolutely no affiliation with either company.

The top and bottom plate dimensions are identical.  Even with sales tax and shipping they still came in at $137 for me.  Nice catch/find!
Get the more expensive version. Just like cables, a bigger price means better sound.
