@amg56...................................... I commend you sir, you are one of the most patient audiophiles ever. I can’t believe how many excuses Schifter has given regarding refunds. If I had been one of the many unlucky audiophiles that bought from him, I would have either gone berserk, or gone to a mental hospital by now. I hope you not only get all your money back, but also your health. Take care. Bob |
@stereo5 Amg isn't the only one waiting. Though $1K isn't chump change, it isn't the end of the world. Those of us who ordered did so knowing that Core Power made some very impressive equipment in the past and there was no reason to believe it shouldn't have continued. That we got caught short is one of the hazards of buying into a small independent company. Hopefully, the new owners will make good on all of Mark's previous commitments. B |
I have maintained that Deep Core will be a success if it can get to market asap as a reliable product in the form as it was designed to be. It will be unique in the market and would be a success. It is a shame that CPT did not have the capital backing to see the DC through to the end. Instead, relying on customer deposits to keep the company (Shifters) alive. Running the company with solid and good company practice would have helped, but this is an obvious statement... There are a number of customers who are owed refunds or product. It would be interesting to know how many. Most frustratingly is the lack of communication with Mark. He says he will contact everyone, and just does not follow through. You email him with a question, and there is no answer. This is his big failure. |
