Has anyone used the Mytek DACs (either Brooklyn or Manhattan) as phono preamps?

Reviews of these two DACs mention they have phono stages included and reviewers seem to think they're good, but hard to get context and there are never any comparisons.  I'd expect they mean "good, considering they're thrown into a DAC," but I'm wondering if anyone has personal experience that might shed light on whether I could even entertain using either of these DACs as my only phono stage.  Current analog rig is Rega RP6/Dynavector 20X2L/Heed Quasar.
