High End audio card need recommendation

Here's one to add to your list ASUS Xonar HDAV 1.3 Deluxe sound card. So far this is the only place I've found it in the States Lagoom. I haven't tried it yet. It is at the top of my list when I settle on my OS to use it with. Which for me looks to be Windows 7 64 bit or Vista 64 bit.

You didn't state whether you needed HDMI or just audio. If it's the latter, get a RME Fireface or MOTU and be done with it. Normal soundcards just cannot match these studio units.

I've been looking at this series of cards.

I haven't heard the card, but on paper it looks very good. Of keen interest is that the opamps are socketed, and the mfg encourages swaps.
