I was shocked at how bad my Theta DataB II Sounded

Received a Ayon CD 2 sounds pretty good compared to my Theata Pro Gen Va and Theta transport, then I used Ayon as transport only into the Theta dac..what a shock the Thata dac held it's own, not as good but what a difference getting the Theta transport out
So do I look for a better transport or keep the Ayon
