Is anyone familiar with the Marantz SA-8001 SACD ?

Anyone still using this spinner?

I've owned the Marantz SA-8001 SACD player for five weeks and am very pleased with it. I replaced the Krell 300CD with it and find the Marantz portrays more detail and transparency than the Krell. The Krell is better, however, at presenting a wide dynamic range and overall power. Nonetheless, the Marantz beats the Krell in overall satisfaction.

I spent a afternoon at a audio party with the Marantz and it is a very solid performer.......thumbs up!

the best buy and was on the best in class list in o4 in stereophile is the marantz 8400 which plays all formats and sounds like music to my ears for around five to six hundred..a steal...
