Is the Audio Technica ATN312 stylus compatible with the Technics SL-10 turntable

I am shopping for a new stylus for my SL-10 turntable.  It has the original cartridge (EPS-310MC) on it but the stylus needs replacing.  I've been told that the ATN312 stylus will work.
