I have the R107/2 also and while I haven't heard the 207/2 I've heard the speaker that tied it for stereophile speaker of the year the Salon2 and i brought my 107/2 down to do a side by side and in comparison to modern SOTA there was no comparison. upgrading to the 207/2 would be worthwhile if you could find a used pair for $10-12k.

Has anyone had the opportunity to compare the sound of these two, and if so what were your impressions? I’m using 107/2s with a 204/2C center, the speaker that matches the 207/2s, but also blends seamlessly with the 107/2s. Wonder if it’s a worthwhile upgrade.
