KrappyKables?

This outfit out of Colorado came to my attention because of Derek Sanderson of FleaWatt Audio’s effusive praise of them. Their website is amusingly insouciant, stating that their cables are "handmade, and not by the most dexterous people around" and that they are "fragile and prone to RF interference from strong nearby sources. Tough shit, You can’t have everything."

At any rate, just curious if anyone has tried these cables out and can report on them? The prices are pretty rock bottom (as one might expect given their marketing), but I’m curious as Derek says they’ve become his new reference...

Reminds me of Armadillo Barbecue in Woodinville. They bought a small used car lot, put "PROPERTY CONDEMNED BY HEALTH DEPARTMENT" in huge letters on the windows, put some benches and a BBQ pit in the lobby and printed up a menu that promised "genuine prison quality meat".

The floors were bare concrete, the whole place unheated save for what came off the burning wood, but at least the barbecue was good.

I doubt the same can be said of these cables. More likely they really are crappy, albeit highly alliterative.

I'm a crappy mechanic, come on over to my crappy garage and I'll try to fix your pile of crap. I won't charge much if I screw it up REAL bad BUT if I manage to fix it, I'll charge the crap out of you. HOW'S that for a Crappy Garage.

I really like working on BMWs, Rolls, Lambos, Porsche, Mazerati and PETERBILT when I'm sober enough to stand.. If I'm falling down slaughtered drunk and can't stand up, that is when I do ALL the brake work. I'm closer to the ground so are the brakes. If I wake up before the customer returns and there are parts left over, I normally just box them for the next (sucker) customer.
