Lightning USB Cable Selection

I have a Bowers & Wilkins speaker system in my newer Volvo.  I use my iPhone to feed it audio via a lightning - USB cable.  The original Apple cable was beginning to wear.  I contacted Audioquest to see if one of their portable DACS might work with my system.  They said it would not.  But, they did recommend considering one of their lightning - USB cables.  They're rather spendy cables.  I'm trying out one of them now.  But, am not sure if the sound quality is that much better than others or not.  Any suggestions regarding lightning - USB cable selection?  Thanks!
