Lindemann Musicbook:Source or Aurilac Vega G1

Was wondering if there was anybody out there who has personal experience with either the Lindemann Musicbook:Source or the Aurilac Vega G1.

Would love to know your personal opinion: strengths and weaknesses, how you feel about the sound. Any feedback would be appreciated. I understand it will be purely subjective. Thank you in advance.

Interesting what you say about the TV. I had a similar problem when connecting my LG OLED to the digital input of my PeachTree Nova300 integrated amp. I found that if I turned the sound off on the TV the sound sync issue disappeared. I'm able to enjoy the full benefit of routing my TV sound through the optical input and DAC of my PeachTree amp.

We listen to different music. I'm jazz and classical and a whole bunch of other stuff, including World and Americana. I'm in the US.

One of my issues with the Lindemann is that there is no US distributor. There also does not appear to be an online user community, at least not one that I can easily find thru a Google search. I would have to order from their one distributor in Canada or directly from Lindemann in Germany.

So I'm still considering my options. I really appreciate your input. Thank you!
I listen to pretty everything except Jazz really. Less classical than modern.

I have set up the NAS, yes - streams perfectly.

I also use Roon, subscribe to Quboz and use the Lindemann App to stream radio. I also feed my TV sound through a cheap DAC into an Analogue input (direct into optical results in a sound sync issue).

I'm in Europe.
What kind of music do you listen to on it? Are you in Europe or North America?

Have you set up a NAS to stream your personal music from?
I have the Musicbook:Source and have paired it with the matching Power 500.

Simply put, I love it. I bought the version with the CD player so as to be future proof (when the internet breaks ;))

I have Buchardt S400 speakers and absolutely love the detail and the clarity I am hearing from this set up. It's warm too, but that is more the speakers than the source.

I can recommend - but perhaps bear in mind that I stepped up from a Marantz HD1 AMP and Novatron N15D streamer, so I would expect to be wowed, frankly. That said, I really do believe this is a fantastic little system - the input options cover all bases and even the app to control the source has had me reconsidering Roon on occasion. The build quality is phenomenal too.
