Magi Phonomenal Phono Preamp vs Linn Linto

I currently use a Magi Phonomenal phono tube preamp which I’m quite happy with (it needs a step up for use with a low output MC). SO... I’m currently using a high output MC cartridge. My cartridge is quite old and I need to replace it and most of the cartridges I’m looking at are low output. This will require me to purchase a step up transformer. Maybe something like a Bob’s Devices. For the same cost (ish) for the step up I could buy a Linn Linto (I’m a long time LP12 user and like Linn stuff). And either keep the Magi or sell to fund the Linto. I have no way of doing a comparison and would appreciate hearing from anyone that could help out with some insite or an opinion.
