Manley Steelhead V2 or Atma-Sphere MP-1 Mk II

into M-60 monos. Anyone try both and have a definate preference? Why? Seems like the MP-1 should be the choice but thought I'd ask.

I play mostly vinyl.

Micro Seiki turntable with MAX arm and Clearaudio Concerto cartridge. (.6 output) I value layered soundstage, transparency, and dynamics.

I would recommend the MP-1, as it does just what you are seeking in spades, and is a great synergistic match to your amps. I am sure you know that it has balanced outputs only.
As always, listening and making your own decision is the best way to go if possible.
